Did you know---- We are often asked if our samples are for sale.  While many of them are on loan from the designers, we do sell some of our retired samples through our friend Gail.  You can view them at her etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/quiltsewpieceful.  Sometimes, it's just easier to buy that finished project. 

Be sure to pick up a roll of the newest "WHY didn't I think of that" product in the quilting industry.  Heat Press Batting Together -  don't you love products that are named just what they are?!?!

This is the slickest way to join together batting bits.  I always join my leftovers for small quilts, tablerunners, placemats, etc.  This product lets you do that in a snap!!!!

Gentle Reminders

While you are in the shop, you will want to check out some of the great new items, they are great for your summer stitching.

Transfer-Eze - this is a fabulous product for all of the stitchers out there.  Just load the paper-backed sheets into your printer, copy your stitchery pattern onto them.  Peel off the paper and stick it onto your background fabric.  After you've completed the stitchery, trim away the excess and simply soak away the remaining product!  No more light box or taping your project to the window and tracing!!!!! 

It's hanging right under our new complete display of the Cosmo Multiwork Thread.  This 25wt, 2 ply thread is delightful for embroidery.  Just spool it off and thread up your needle, you'll never need to deal with the tangle of stranded floss again!  It's regularly priced at $4 per spool; take advantage of our introductory special of 6 or more spools for $3.75 each!

International Quilt Festival in Long Beach.

The International Quilt Festival is your chance to see amazing quilts, take classes with a lot of talented people in the quilt world and shop in one of the best venues offered on the west coast.

We have moved a couple of our group meetings in July due to the Long Beach trip.
Quilt History will be held on Thursday, July 29th. We have a very special guest speaker, so be sure to check our here for more information soon.

Our Civil War Tribute Block of the Month group will meet on Saturday, July 17th at 10 AM. Don't forget to wear your name badge and bring your completed blocks and special projects for your name to be entered in all the drawings.
