This is not an “Introduction to Machine Quilting” or “Beginning Machine Quilting” class but rather an intensive, thorough and complete course which covers everything you need, as well as the hands-on time to practice with an instructor’s help, to become an accomplished quilter. During the 8-week course you will spend several hours at your machine as well as receive an in-depth course covering the tools, notions, tips information and “real” techniques that work.

You’ll share what you know and learn even more about quilts from the past. In 2009 we will be learning about the life and events from the early 20th century,1900 to 1940. We will study events, textiles, patterns and the names that influenced the quilt world as well as the lives of the women of that period. Each session will include a block pattern and kit.
